AGRICULTURE ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGIES

New agriculture technologies focus on efficiency, sustainability, and data, with key innovations including AI & Robotics for autonomous tasks.

Afrigle focuses on two of most important sectors in Agriculture being

  • Managing natural resources and inputs to produce crops

Drone technologies in agriculture offer precision farming, using sensors and AI for data-driven decisions on irrigation, fertilizer, and pest control, leading to increased yields, reduced costs (chemicals, water, labour), improved crop health monitoring (NDVI, thermal), faster operations (spraying, surveying), enhanced worker safety, and greater sustainability through minimized environmental impact

  • Livestock tracking and geo fencing

Drone livestock tracking uses UAVs with cameras (thermal/HD) and GPS tags to monitor herd movement, health, and location, integrating with geofencing to create virtual boundaries that trigger alerts if animals stray, aiding theft prevention, health monitoring (lameness, illness), and efficient farm management by reducing manual labour and covering vast areas quickly, offering real-time data for better decision-making in smart farming
